This session will showcase the involvement of university IT staff to build a community that ensures diversity, equity, and inclusion. These organizations and programs have created numerous presentations held on and off campus to highlight the achievements of leaders in the technology field for DEI events such as Black History Month, Women's History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Pride Month, diverse film festivals and numerous other events supporting inclusiveness. Participation in these community events by IT staff helps lead representation and celebration of all cultures in the technology workforce and creates spaces where all are safe and welcome.
