Supplier diversity initiatives have become a top priority for higher education institutions, and for good reason. By intentionally seeking out and doing business with suppliers from diverse backgrounds, colleges and universities can promote economic equity and social justice, providing more opportunities for historically marginalized communities to participate in the mainstream economy. Join members of the UMass Unified Procurement Services Team (UPST) and their CDW partners for a discussion on how these initiatives promote economic growth by creating meaningful jobs and local involvement.
