This is an off-site, non-EDUCAUSE event, hosted by the Network Management, Wireless LAN and Communications Infrastructure and Applications (CIA) community groups, through a series of focused discussions, we’ll work through current trends and topics across the technology infrastructure. This event will take place at DePaul University's Loop Campus ( 1 E. Jackson Blvd, Room 8005, Chicago, IL 60604).

Sessions/topics include:

  • The future of the secure and scalable campus network including Zero Trust and Role Based Access Control
  • Analytics and monitoring from operations to security
  • Wi-Fi 6E challenges and opportunities
  • Moving telecom to the cloud (UCaaS, Unified Communications as a Service), or moving network management to the cloud
  • Challenging the “utility” mentality & managing technical debt while positioning IT as a business enabler
  • What’s happening at my place
  • Routing Security, RPKI (Resource Public Key Infrastructure), MANRS (Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security)
