In today’s higher education environment, an institution’s ability to successfully adapt to demographic and landscape changes largely relies on how effectively it adopts and uses technology. But institutional success also depends on how a campus can adapt on a more micro scale—it requires teams to work as a collaborative unit; it requires shifts in how students engage with staff and faculty; and it depends on how well an institution can pivot to ensure that strategic and operational tactics align with its mission. When it comes to adaptation, collaboration and digital transformation go hand-in-hand; institutions must ensure that staff, faculty, students, and other constituents use all of their available resources to thrive, no matter what future challenges higher education faces. This panel session will share real-world stories and experiences from campus leaders across three institutions: Southeastern University, Berry College, and Dominican University. The session will highlight their different transformation journeys, as well as how they discovered best practices, overcame challenges, had the foresight to adopt modern technology, and coached their teams along the way.
