Tuesday, October 10, 2023 | 8:00AM–8:45AM CT | W185a, Level 1
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session
What should we do in the digital learning environment to really improve student outcomes? This question is critical for prioritizing where we ask faculty to invest their time. Edith Cowan University is answering it by bringing together project management data generated during its recent LMS transition (e.g., transition monitoring and evaluation data) with student outcome metrics including retention, success, and satisfaction. In doing this we identified which aspects of the digital learning environment have the greatest impact on student outcomes. Do welcome videos make a difference? How about quality of media? Or peer-to-peer discussions? If you want to know the answers to these questions and learn how you can generate data to understand what makes a difference for students at your institution, we look forward to walking you through the ECU approach.
