How are senior online learning leaders setting program strategy and maintaining quality as emerging technologies and shifting institutional priorities continue to reshape online learning? In this session, co-authors of the CHLOE (Changing Landscape of Online Education) Report share key findings from the 2026 CHLOE Conversations research report series, a qualitative extension of CHLOE’s long-standing work tracking online learning trends and leader perspectives. Drawing on focus groups with senior online learning leaders across sectors, this session examines how leaders are shaping institutional approaches to AI, aligning program strategy with market trends, and advancing and evaluating quality in a rapidly evolving and increasingly competitive landscape. Attendees will engage with the findings through brief polling and guided reflection, situate their institution’s approach in relation to other institutions, and identify practical strategies to inform local planning and decision-making.
