Unlocking Insight through Integrated Data in Higher Education
In a modern world focused on AI, no matter the purpose of the AI tool, a theme keeps emerging: DATA. Just as AI relies on data to make decisions and unlock insights, so too must the higher ed world use data as the key to unlocking information. Whether it is used at an extremely high level or exposed as daily transactions, without the facts, insights lack luster and decision-making stays flat, reactive, and uninspired. When the right key is used, the entrance is unlocked, and the path forward is clear and enlightened. Data analytics can enhance institutional decision-making through the integration of the Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS) data, and business analytics tools. Using Entrinsik Informer as a reporting solution, institutions can extract and analyze key data from both systems to generate actionable insights. These reports provide deans, faculty, and administrators with timely and relevant information to support data-informed strategies. Key data points are leveraged to identify opportunities for intervention, improve student outcomes, and optimize operational efficiency. By transforming raw SIS and LMS data into meaningful analytics, institutions are better equipped to make proactive, evidence-based decisions. This session highlights practical applications, reporting strategies, and the value of aligning analytics tools with institutional goals.
