This session discusses the acceleration of open educational resources (OER) efforts from a broad lens, considering factors of student success, retention, affordability, accessibility, technical interoperability, social justice/DEI, and an overall campus culture of care. Presenters will use learning and student development theory to stress the importance of overt student support strategies, including the use of OER, and explain how COVID-19 has accelerated this critical work nationwide.
