At Your Service! Defining Customer-Focused IT Services (separate registration is required)

Tuesday, October 25 | 8:30AM–4:00PM MT | Mile High Ballroom 1BC, Ballroom Level
Session Type: Additional Fee Program
Delivery Format: Preconference Workshop Session

Many higher education IT organizations struggle to effectively define their services. Improperly defined services result in organizations not being able to achieve desired performance from their ITSM program and systems, limiting IT service delivery efforts. This workshop will teach attendees strategies for effectively defining durable, accessible, customer-focused IT services, using interactive activities to enhance learning.

Attendees will learn, understand, and be able to apply:

1. How to define durable, customer-focused IT services;

2. How to use the Higher Education IT Service Catalog publication to accelerate or reinvigorate service catalog efforts;

3. Considerations for online content delivery, including web accessibility, responsive design, universal design, and user experience.
