Engaging with Boards and Cabinets to Create a Security-First Campus Culture

Friday, October 28 | 8:30AM–9:15AM MT | Mile High Ballroom 1A-C, Ballroom Level
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session

Despite rising board and cabinet attention to cybersecurity risk, IT leaders often struggle to get leadership to perceive cybersecurity as an institutional rather than an IT concern. This session examines EAB's research on cybersecurity board and cabinet engagement and draws on lessons from recent successful leadership interactions at Buffalo State College and John Carrol University. Participants will learn how to make boards and cabinets partners in cultivating a security-first campus culture.
