Princeton University's approach to vendor risk assessment extends vendor accountability beyond information security to include the accessibility of their products and services. Since 2017, digital accessibility has been a partner with IT architecture, security, compliance, and privacy in vendor assessments. The addition of accessibility further decreases institutional risk and supports the university's values of diversity and inclusion that are central to its educational and research mission.
