How the Pandemic Pivot to Digital Learning is Changing Student Assessment

Thursday, October 27 | 11:15AM–12:00PM MT | Meeting Room 605/607
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session

After nearly two years of teaching online, we've seen faculty change how they design tests, including the use of large pools or "banks" of questions to deliver online open note exams without surveillance software, and now offering online exams proctored in large classrooms. In this presentation, we'll highlight how faculty have become more savvy in designing assessments, in part by leveraging (not banning) student mobile devices, and blurring the lines of online, hybrid and F2F course delivery.
