Experts from a Canadian digital media agency and the University of Agder (Norway) discuss the value of multimedia tools to boost student engagement, learning and assessment in online environments. The session will focus on the pilot testing of a digital learning tool that draws inspiration from on-demand video platforms to engage students with diverse profiles and on the opportunities and challenges of assessing multimodal assignments, drawing from experience in a Norwegian teaching program.
