Policy, Culture and Technology: How UNC Launched a Successful Digital Accessibility Program

Thursday, October 27, 2022 | 1:00PM–1:45PM MT | Mile High Ballroom 1A-C, Ballroom Level
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session

Three years ago, UNC-Chapel Hill launched its first Digital Accessibility Office. In this session, you'll discover how the team built a culture of respect for digital accessibility—all while responding to an OCR complaint and helping to navigate an inclusive COVID-19 response as courses shifted online. You'll hear real case studies from our campus, and we'll take your questions about opportunities for digital accessibility inclusion and transformation on your campus.
