Inclusive Leadership: Strategies for Cultivating Courage and Cultural Intelligence as Key Traits

Thursday, October 27 | 4:00PM–4:45PM MT | Meeting Room 401-403
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session
Why is inclusive leadership the best way to enhance the work climate and culture? Inclusive leadership is based on the mind and the heart, and this is reflected in at least two of the traits of an inclusive leader: courage and cultural intelligence. During this session we will explore strategies on how to cultivate these two traits through non-violent communication techniques and through learning how to identify and address the characteristics of white supremacy that negatively affect us all.
