Become a Conference Connector
An EDUCAUSE Conference Connectors is a member who demonstrates extraordinary enthusiasm for the Annual Conference and is willing to dedicate time to help first-timers at this year's conference feel welcome and engaged.
To be considered for this role, you must:
-
work at an EDUCAUSE member institution
-
have previously attended an EDUCAUSE Annual Conference
-
articulate why you'd be ideal as an on-site ambassador to conference newcomers
-
be willing to dedicate about 10 hours of your time at the conference in Denver to connect with or facilitate connections between first timer attendees
In order to assure that the Conference Connectors represent the diversity of our member base, you must apply for the role by filling out this brief form. Those who fulfill the Conference Connector role at EDU22, will receive a 25% discount to attend this year's conference and receive a full complimentary conference registration to next year's conference.
Conference Connector Responsibilities:

Attend the October 6 Webinar | EDUCAUSE Annual Conference 2022 Newcomers: Know Before You Go
-
Participate in a live, virtual planning/informational meeting the week before the conference

Contribute to the first-timer curated itinerary and identify things to do at EDUCAUSE 2022

Serve as team lead for small groups of first timers at the conference to do each of the following:

Lead a tour of the exhibit hall
-
Host a shared meal or networking experience
-
Convene a small group to attend a session together and debrief afterwards

Offer a group Braindate directed at first-timers
-
Participate in a post-event Conference Connector debrief and evaluation to help us improve the program for next year
