Thursday, October 01, 2026 | 3:15PM–4:15PM MT
Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster Session
As artificial intelligence reshapes the future of work, higher education institutions face the urgent challenge of preparing students with the skills needed to use AI strategically, ethically, and innovatively in professional contexts. This session presents the AI Faculty Summit, a large-scale institutional initiative to embed AI into disciplinary teaching and learning across seven academic schools, with faculty members at the center. During this session, we will share the model used to implement the 2025 AI Faculty Summit, beginning with a co-design process that engaged all seven schools and central academic support units. Participants will explore a replicable framework for faculty engagement, examine key success factors for scaling AI integration across the institution, and gain practical strategies to align AI use with pedagogy, ethics, and professional relevance.
