This presentation will describe how faculty and staff from multiple higher education institutions came together with learning sciences researchers to engage in a Research-Practice Partnership (RPP) regarding use of AI for instructional support. We will introduce RPP as a method that centers on collaboration between practitioners and researchers and share the affordances of this well-suited method for investigating problems of practice, particularly for a rapidly evolving technology such as AI.
