Session Type: Featured Session
Delivery Format: Featured Session
Does it feel like you are behind on AI readiness at your institution? Here’s a secret: you’re not! We are all trying to figure this out together. Join this interactive panel discussion to learn how institutions across the globe are leveraging the Ten Dimensions of AI Readiness Framework to assess their readiness and drive investment in AI at their institutions. As AI becomes increasingly pervasive in society, it is critical that colleges and universities are thoughtful about AI alignment to the curriculum, faculty development, and institutional policies. The challenges associated with the adoption of AI in higher education require a holistic, strategic approach. In this session, you’ll hear from an international panel of higher ed leaders who are leveraging the AI Readiness Framework to advance AI as outlined in the framework, through: governance, faculty development, AI literacy, teaching and assessment strategies, and research and innovation. The framework was developed by higher ed leaders across the globe with the guidance of the Digital Education Council. There will be an opportunity for participants to share how they are approaching these dimensions of institutional readiness throughout the session with polls and small group discussion, because we are all figuring this out together.
