Higher education institutions are modernizing administrative operations, but many programs still define success as “go-live” rather than measurable outcomes. Oregon State University (OSU) took a different approach—treating its enterprise resource planning (ERP) investment as a benefits realization program from day one, with a clear vision and a quantified target of $10.8M in annual recurring savings. This session shares how OSU’s Administrative Modernization Program (AMP) laid the groundwork early through leadership alignment, robust upfront planning and preparation, and intentional change management—delivered alongside the technology.
