As higher education navigates rapid change, students are keeping pace while maintaining clear expectations for how their learning experiences, technology, and preparation for future careers should work together. Drawing on findings from the 2026 EDUCAUSE Students and Technology Report, this session highlights student perspectives across several key areas, including course experiences (including generative AI), technology and support services, workforce preparation, and student support. Participants will engage in a guided small-group activity to identify gaps between student expectations and institutional practices and develop realistic near-term actions. A facilitated share-out will surface common challenges and practical approaches across institutions. This session emphasizes practical application, helping participants translate student expectations into targeted improvements that strengthen student success, career readiness, and the overall student experience.
