In a year when “adding AI” is easy, but governing it is hard, this session offers a practical, student-success operating model for scaling support without losing human judgment. Austin Community College and imaginX will share how they designed a Human Intelligence-in-the-Loop approach that unifies student context across SIS/LMS/CRM/Financial Aid, automates repeatable Tier 1 work, and places clear human review and escalation checkpoints where risk, equity, and policy matter. Attendees will leave with reusable templates to map one of their own student-support workflows into AI-assisted vs. human-required steps, define decision rights (RACI), and apply a measurement scorecard that connects automation to reclaimed advisor capacity and student impact.
