Wednesday, September 30, 2026 | 4:30PM–5:30PM MT
Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster Session
Higher education institutions are under increasing pressure to modernize aging IT infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity, expand student-centered digital services, and improve operational efficiency, all while facing limited budgets and rising expectations for agility. Cloud-based SaaS ecosystems offer a compelling pathway forward, enabling institutions to offload maintenance burdens, increase system resilience, and deliver anytime/anywhere access to students and employees. This session presents a strategic, repeatable roadmap for migrating institutional systems from legacy on-prem environments to SaaS, grounded in real-world lessons from two institutions that have already made the transition. Attendees will learn how SaaS adoption enhances data-driven decision-making, streamlines operations, improves user experience, and increases IT staff capacity for innovation.
