Making Accessibility Work at a Public University Using AI

Louisiana Tech University has partnered with BetaFlix to create APro, an AI-powered accessibility platform for higher education that meets ADA Title II and WCAG 2.1 Level AA Compliance. Located on the Louisiana Tech Enterprise campus, BetaFlix is comprised of faculty and subject matter experts. This session will discuss how the tool was created in collaboration with faculty, with the goal of assisting in remediation of instructional content. This session will also include discussion of how the APro was created and how it is being used at Louisiana Tech for accessibility compliance.
