Texas Tech University runs three systems that have to agree: Banner, Focus SIS for dual-enrollment students, and Canvas.
Using Scaffold DataX, the university automated enrollment across all three. Registration now syncs in real time, so students reach their courses immediately and staff no longer provision high school students by hand.
The same pipeline maintains an independent, continuously updated copy of Canvas course and enrollment data — so if the LMS is unavailable, Texas Tech still has its records and can keep instruction moving.
This poster covers the architecture, what got automated first, and how one pipeline became a reporting foundation.
