AI is reshaping higher education, but legacy security and IT models are best suited to the earlier era. VPNs, device lockdowns, and dated network perimeters conflict with the open, cloud-driven AI-powered workflows of today’s campuses. Not to mention remote work and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies that students, faculty, and administrators expect. This session reveals how leading higher ed institutions can redefine access and control at the browser layer. This architecture creates a secure foundation for responsible AI adoption while eliminating the friction of traditional VPNs.
