When the University of Louisiana System set out to standardize reporting across campuses that had never standardized on the same stack, it started with one pilot. ULM spent the past year rebuilding its data governance and reporting foundation: completers, census, applicant funnel, and a cash-reporting blueprint, with the goal of producing something other institutions within the system could adopt, rather than reinvent. This session brings together the campus IT leader who reconciled decades of organically evolved systems; the system leader who had to align governance expectations across institutions; and the product leader who had to build for both at once. Panelists will share how a focused staff investment produced a governance and reporting model that other campuses are now adopting directly—turning the work of one campus into a system-wide asset.
