EDUCAUSE Workshop Proposal Builder

Workshop Proposal Builder

Need help shaping your proposal before submitting it?

The EDUCAUSE Workshop Proposal Builder (currently offered as a pilot and designed to support preconference workshop proposals only at this time) helps you turn an idea into a well-structured proposal with AI support. Whether you're starting with a rough concept or refining an existing idea, the assistant can help you develop a compelling session title, clear description, meaningful learning outcomes, and engaging learning activities tailored to the EDUCAUSE audience. It also helps you think through how to design your workshop for the half-day or full-day preconference format.

When you launch the assistant, it begins by asking a few short questions to better understand your topic and goals. From there, it guides you through the proposal development process with prompts, suggestions, and structured steps.

By the end, you'll have a formatted proposal draft that you can easily copy and paste into the submission form—saving you time while helping ensure your proposal is clear, engaging, and ready for peer review.

Access the Workshop Proposal Builder.

NOTE: We encourage proposers to use the Workshop Proposal Builder to strengthen their ideas, but please ensure your session reflects your own experience and your ability to deliver what is described. The Builder does not submit proposals on your behalf. You must still follow the official submission process. Do not enter personal or sensitive information into the AI assistant. To submit your proposal, please visit the proposal submission page. Usage limits may affect your session. Without an account, stepping away too long can cause a timeout and loss of chat history, so it's best to copy your conversation before leaving. With no or a free account, you may need to wait if you hit usage limits, and you might see a "file upload limit" message due to internal reference files counting toward system limits.
