AI Ethics and Literacy: Insights and Resources from the EDUCAUSE-HP Community of Practice

Wednesday, October 23, 2024 | 11:30AM–12:15PM CT | Meeting Room 007AB, River Level
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session
EDUCAUSE and HP have partnered to host a community of practice for leaders and practitioners innovating in their use of AI for teaching and learning. In this session, we will explore the approach to building the community, review the topics prioritized for discussion, and focus on two resources that were developed by members of the group: a framework for AI literacy that can be applied to faculty, staff, or student training and an ethical framework that can be used to guide campus policy and practice. Participants will be invited to consider opportunities to leverage these resources at their institutions.
