Delivery Format: Industry Led
AI isn’t going away. The reality is that students need to learn how to responsibly and effectively use AI tools to prepare for a rapidly changing workforce. But teaching “responsible AI use” in the context of a higher education classroom is fraught with difficulty. Students are currently adopting AI tools without a clear sense of how to use them, while instructors are relying on existing AI detection tools as a proxy for deeper conversations on academic integrity. As student-AI collaboration grows, merely screening submitted text for AI-generated content is insufficient. Educators must be equipped to distinguish between human-generated, AI-generated, and blended content, and understand students’ processes across various tools and sources. Join our Head of Grammarly for Education, Jenny Maxwell, and a panel of educators for a look into the future of how educators can derive objective, in-depth insights into the student writing process and how students can showcase their creative and strategic contributions to work with transparency across the human-AI composition cycle.
