Change with Analytics: Using a Playbook to Improve Analytics Capabilities

Wednesday, October 23, 2024 | 3:00PM–3:45PM CT | Meeting Room 221D, Second Level
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session
As colleges and universities navigate increasingly difficult and complex challenges, the ability to make data-informed decisions becomes an ever more important strategy and a solid foundation of institutional analytics capabilities more important for supporting that ability. Funded by the Gates Foundation, EDUCAUSE partnered with the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) and the National Association for College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) to develop a guide for increasing institutional analytics capabilities, the Change with Analytics Playbook. The playbook includes a set of how-to “plays,” each designed to address a different aspect of the institutional analytics journey. In this highly interactive session, presenters will demonstrate the use of the playbook and engage participants in an exploration of how to customize plays for their own institutions’ contexts. Join us to see how you can use the playbook to improve analytics capabilities at your institution.
