In this panel discussion, Insight and Apple will present a summary of the architectural decisions and directions announced for the Apple platform and its ecosystem of operating systems. Our focus will be on how these decisions empower educational institutions to leverage AI features while minimizing risks to employee, student, faculty, and proprietary research. The discussion will delve into Apple Intelligence and AI, highlighting the security advantages of on-device and local AI processing, which protects sensitive information. Security and privacy will be central themes, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding data in this new age of AI-ready devices. The panel will explore the benefits of Apple Intelligence from a security perspective and how universities can best utilize these advantages.
