Driving Learner Re-Enrollment: How to Design for Student Success in and Out of the Classroom
Wednesday, October 23 | 1:45PM–2:30PM CT | Meeting Room 007CD, River Level
Session Type:
Breakout Session
Delivery Format:
Presentation/Panel Session
This session draws insight from a large-scale survey of 1,600 learners from diverse backgrounds: 80% identify as a student of color, half of whom have stopped out along their path through college, and half of whom are first-generation students. These learners shared with us their expectations for and challenges with obtaining a post-secondary credential. Their experiences are compared to the perceptions of the faculty, staff and administrators that serve them, in service of identifying ways that institutions and solution providers can better design experiences and products that drive student success inside and outside of the classroom.
