Your Display Space and What to Bring

  • The actual “counter space” area is not very large. Please keep this in mind when planning what you are bringing with you on-site. Storage space is extremely limited.
  • Important: These structures are not meant to support a great deal of weight and the counter space is only 1 ½ feet deep from the graphic wall to the front edge. Please be cognizant of what you are placing on them. We will permit you to have one flat panel monitor, however we highly recommend it be no larger than 26”.
  • Do not set up retractable pull up banners, as we will ask you to remove them. We want to keep the floor space around the structures clear for foot traffic and movement in the space.
  • Do not hang or post items to the back wall of your booth. We want these units to look as professional and streamlined as possible. Additionally, it is not the intent of these structures to support materials posted to or hanging from them. The graphics that will be printed on the back wall will be enough to display your company name and establish your presence. Please also do not set a table skirt on your exhibit structure.
  • You are welcome to bring:
    • Marketing collateral. To keep your space as clean as possible, we recommend storing extra collateral in your storage space, putting out only what you need and replenishing throughout the day.
    • Tablet or laptop for product demos.
    • Business cards.

Guidelines

The following guidelines have been set for our Emerging Tech Experience participants. We ask that you review these closely and plan accordingly.

  • The Emerging Tech Experience is intended to provide a forum for attendee engagement with your company and your products or services. As such, company representatives should keep a welcoming and inviting demeanor, while avoiding a “hard sales” approach.
  • Participating companies are invited to actively involve attendee visitors in product demonstrations, solution feedback discussions, and conversations around product development (future feature enhancement suggestions, etc.).
  • Do not distribute marketing collateral or materials outside of your designated exhibit space. This includes the public seating areas that are near your exhibit space as well as during the spotlight presentations
  • Do not tear down your exhibit space early. In order to maintain the integrity of the show set, we ask that you plan accordingly to assist EDUCAUSE and your brand maintain a positive presence.

On-site Contact

For the safety and security of your staff while on-site, please provide EDUCAUSE with the contact information of your on-site representative. To do so, complete this contact information form by October 3.

This person will only be contacted if we have questions or concerns about your booth set-up or in the case of an emergency.
